Art After Dark
Of Myths and Celebrations
5 – 9 pm Newport Art Museum (76 Bellevue Avenue)
Animate the night, connect with friends and family, and celebrate mythical stories from around the world. Visit Jason E. Smith's "Outer Myths" exhibition, create a traditional Lunar New Year craft, explore the Museum's permanent collection, view the stars above through high-powered telescopes and learn the related mythical stories of the constellations. The Museum will be alive with sights and sounds for all ages. Live music, early evening guided tours for children and late night "Insomniac Tours" for adults, an all-ages scavenger hunt of the Museum's permanent collection, hands-on crafts, libations and light refreshments.

Stargazing on the Museum lawn with Skyscrapers, Inc., RI's amateur astronomical society.
Dress warmly and follow the luminaria for a magical night at the Newport Art Museum.
Admission is free for members.
