New Digital Studio Expands Opportunities
Thanks to a generous gift from Minnie and Jimmy Coleman, we opened a new digital studio at the Coleman Center for Creative Studies in the Gilbert S. Kahn Building in February. Students from the East Bay Met School were among the first to enjoy the nine iMac workstations loaded with powerful design and imaging software. The students are participating in “Newport County After School Excitement” or iNCASE, an innovative network that expands choices for after school activities. The Museum is administering iNCASE in collaboration with The Boys and Girls Clubs of Newport County, Inc., East Bay Met School, Jamestown Teen Center, and Ophelia Sessions of Child & Family. iNCASE is funded by the Newport County Fund of The Rhode Island Foundation.
Check out our new digital photography and design courses for adults, teens and children. April and summer vacation camps too!
